When shopping for security cameras, read the specifications. Many resellers not in security business offer "hi-resolution color cameras". Anything less than 420 lines is NOT hi-res. By today's standards hi-res camera resolution should be at least 420 lines, and light level less than 1 lux. Also keep in mind that there is no such thing as 0 lux camera. Some cameras come with (IR) infrared LEDs to illuminate the field of view, so there is light. It is NOT total darkness (0 lumens).
